Every September, coaches/directors of member teams are invited to come together with Showcase America staff and judges to learn from one another and from leaders in the dance field. Additionally, members provide review and input into the Rules & Regulations.

During the Annual Meeting, dancers are invited to attend a dance clinic where they can learn from top talent in the dance field, participating in master classes, technique and learning combinations in various genres. This year, dancers were divided into levels 1-4 and took classes in pom, jazz, hiphop, lyrical and contemporary.

This past year we had more than 50 staff/judges and coaches/directors join us for a full day. We discussed our approach to Awards, updates to rules and regulations, had a session on injury prevention in dancers provided by a Cincinnati Children's expert physician, jointly participated in judges' training by Jessica W., lead for the UDA college nationals judging panel, choreography and show design discussion and more. An optional CPR certification class was held immediately after the meeting.
